Material on anthracite is different from standard white headliner. I can post a pic if you want.

I just added the Nappa Leather Dash and Console to my order. I am so glad I did. It looks so awesome and adds so much class to the vehicle. I have an 08' X5 3.0si and the standard trim is not nearly as nice. Can't wait to get it!!

Yours is showing textured finish. Its usually smooth finish. All ///M cars and cars with M-sport pack usually come with Anthracite headliner.

I had seen one in a photo. Liked it. Thought about it. But I ended up not getting it. However, the X5 that I drove at the performance center had the leather dash and it was Really Nice. It was very well put together and added a lot of class.

I'm happier with the regular dash in my E70 than my E53. It seemed that my E53s dash was textured in a way that made it catch, and hold on to, anything that came its way. Cleaning cloths would just drag on it. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that my E70 dash was really easy to wipe off. Great!
