Probably even more important - interior trim:

Dark Walnut
Dark Bamboo (Wife digs this but I'm not on board)
Alu (have this on my G35)
Light Poplar

Just my opinion only.

Dark Walnut & Light poplar - too common in older cars. Something my parents would get. Not that found of the patterns anymore

Alu - sporty and young.

Dark Bamboo- more exotic and luxurious looking.

I narrowed it down the alu and bamboo. But ended up going wtih bamboo because wife liked it. She's not fond of the alu as it makes it look like my sports coupe from my college days. Her comment "It's a sporty SUV, not a M3".

Whoa.. I think we know the same woman!

light poplar mixes with the saddle brown very nicely. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone wood at all.

I have an '09 35d Sapphire Black with Saddle Brown interior and we (and everyone else) love it!!

I spend some time spritzing the exterior for fingerprints, but the combo is the best, imho.

I love saddle brown. I think it looks great with a white or black exterior but my wife doesn't like either. It's going to be her X so I'm trying to keep my mouth shut. I burned any say so after issuing a diesel ultimatum ;)
