2010 Order Question
Hey guys,
I have been reading this forum for a while and its been very helpful. I ordered a 2010 x5 35d earlier this month. Last week I got the production number and checked it out on the web. The website has the car color listed as alpine white but I ordered Titanium Silver. Everything else about the car is correct. I emailed the dealer and he told me that the order is for Titanium Silver. He sent me a copy of the order and he is correct. He told me that it takes a while for the website to update. Has anyone else had this happen? Should I be concerned that they may build my car in the wrong color? Is it perhaps just an error in entering this on the website but they use another system that has the correct color? Thanks |
Don't worry, it takes a few days for the BMW website to get updated. The same thing happened to me when I ordered my X5.

Check back in a few days. They had my Nappa leather shown as Nevada at first. It corrected itself.
Good luck! |
I got my prod # yesterday, when i checked the website, colors are exactly how i ordered it, lucky me, no worries....

they use an allotment already in the system... so it does take a few days... I think mine was originally space gray.

Thanks for the help!

I ordered 8/28, (no production date yet); some days the web site includes the "Adaptive Drive" in the list of ordered options, and some days it isn't on the list. The dealer says, "no worries." Apparently the web site tracking is for approximate guidance only.
