Bumper Air Inlet
1 Attachment(s)
Does any know the procedure to remove the highlighted air-inlet in the front bumper. I know to remove the lattice and silver piece, just not the entire housing. Thanks!

i think he means the painted part too, not just the silver and mesh part..right? |
Oh whoops, didn't the whole post. Yeah he meant the whole piece.

Correct, looking for the painted air in-let. I believe, based on the thread that discusses the reflector removal, you have to disassemble the lower bumper, peel it back and remove. I was looking for some guidance and/or a BMW removal guide.
Thanks. |
Just a thought . . but the front bumper is not a big deal to remove... that would make it easier ? Or is that what you are after ?

Remove the front bumper cover. The air inlets are welded inside to the cover, so you would need to cut the plastic welding with a knife/blade and then you can easily remove it. There is no way you can pull out the intakes without damaging the bumper cover. Hope the attachment helps.
