Contact fax numbers sync to Idrive

I have an Iphone 3GS and the fax numbers for the contacts sync over to the Idrive. Is there any way to stop this? Obviously, I do not want to call a fax number and having those numbers just eats away at the total limit of 2000 numbers you can sync with the Idrive.

Anybody know how not to let contact fax numbers sync to IDrive, apart from deleting all the fax numbers from your contacts?!
