Which Rim Style Do you Like the Best?
4 Attachment(s)
Just got an e-mail from CEC wheels (an authorized reseller of ACS) announcing a new wheel style for the E70. The Type VIII.
I'm still debating on whether to get the BMW 128's or go with ACS. It seems the 128's are 21" and not a very common tire size. Furthermore, I'm pretty much limited to only run-flats which will cost more. I'm assuming that the ACS are pretty much non run-flat rims (unless someone can tell me otherwise). But since they are non run-flats. Even tires for 22" are less expensive. They come in the following sizes: Type IV- 10x20 Type V- 9x20, 10x20, 10x22 Type VIII- 10x22, 11.5x22, 11x23, 12x23 I'm not posting to ask people what they think I should get. Though I do welcome any comments you have about any of these wheels styles (ie: why going with one or the other is good or bad, etc). I'm just curious what the current taste for rims is. |
wow. any of those ACS are really really really ugly. do not put any of those on your beautiful X
|
Uh yeah go with the 128s--the rest of those are ugly.

Other, 215's FTW

Powder-coated 128

128s. I don't like the thin wheels / spokes on the aftermarkets, on such a huge car.

acs VIII for sure, Elvis lives! spend your money, help the economy!!!!
apparently, our x5's are going low class, time to find something better... |
I am voting for the 128 style.

Definately the first pic! It's an oem style, looks better than all the others and I'm sure is the least expensive of them all too.

I hope the roads are smooth as glass in SC if you decide go w/the ACS wheels.
Man there is no side wall on those. Is there. |
