Wheel Bolt for 20mm spacer
I've done the forum searches and google'd and am finding it hard to find the exact wheel bolt length for a 20mm spacer on an E70......
I'm assuming it's 14mm x 1.25; 50mm ? Can anyone confirm... Thanks !!! |
If you are using a spacer that bolts to the hub and the wheel bolts to the spacer, then you don't need to worry, the spacer comes with lugs that you would use to install it.
If you have a spacer that uses the wheel's longer lugs to bolt to the hub, then you would need 14mm x 1.25 and shank should be at least 44mm. I am saying this because the stock lugs have a shank of 24mm, so if you sandwich a spacer between the wheel and hub, you need 20mm extra. Check this: Application Notes |

I have 12mm in the front, which uses 43mm lugs. The rear is 30mm, which has its own lugs. These bolt the spacer to the hub and the stock lugs are used to bolt the wheel on the spacer.
