Dealer just emailed VIN saying it was just placed on the truck and is on the way to NJ, ETA "5-6 days"..

Your dealer had an allocation and production week already decided before you ordered?

This dealer has/had plenty of spots for various vehicles but only 2 spots for X5 diesels (i think week 50 for Diesel). He showed me everything right on the screen.

Online shows "at preparation center".. 800 # is still in paint shop.. I betcha it's going to be at the dealer on Monday...which will mark 13 days from ordering!!!!!!

Curious why you chose the regular sport package over the M-sport package since you were ordering the car. Was it entirely preference for the look of the black plastic verses body color?

He has chosen regular sport pkg vs the M sport for 2 reasons - M package does not have heated steering wheel and you can not have a hitch with it :)
