Heated Steering Wheel Retrofit
 
Any one did a retrofit from a non heated to a heated steering wheel? Is it possible?

I did this on my E53 and I'm sure it's possible on the E70. Do a search and you should find my detailed write-up with pics and step by step instructions. The only catch on the E70 is that the steering wheel buttons are programmable. So you MAY have to get the dealer to do some re-programming!

On a different note, this is why I could not get the paddleshift steering from the X6 to work on the X5. Mind you now that the X5M has paddleshift, it may be easier to do...

Just an fyi, I was looking for a thread I'd created more than a year ago. I used the advanced search and put in almost the exact title of my thread. And it did NOT come up. So we have to give the guy a break because sometime the search function doesnt work so great.
