Is it possible to open trunk w/ remote on 10 x35d?

The key has a sign for it so should be the case but mine does not work? Is this an issue or am I missing something?

The key should unlock/unlatch the rear liftgate. If you have the premium package, it should also open the liftgate. The bottom part (tailgate) is a manual operation in all cases.

On my auto tailgate, I have to hold it down for 2 seconds and release, then it will open. The timing is important because if you hold it too long, it will trigger the alarm. If you hold it too short, it was too short. ;) I actually count to about 2.5 in my head... it's that troublesome.
