comfort seats = active seats?

So I'm a little confused.. is there a difference between the Comfort Seats (as part of the Executive Package [CDN]), vs. the "Active Seats for Driver" under the Comfort Seating Package?

I'm looking at ordering the M Sport Package + Exec. Pack, and I'm assuming in this case the Comfort Seats would supersede the Sport Seats. Further to this, I had been looking at the Comfort Seating Package, but am somewhat confused what this would really add... ventilated seats? OR is there an actual difference between "Active Seat" & "Comfort Seat".

I appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this for me.

I currently have the Comfort Seats on my '07 X5.. I would like to keep similar functionality. I only wish they still had the side folding headrests...

Thanks!

I am not 100% but the active seat option is a button on the dash that keeps your butt and thighs from falling asleep or getting a pressure sore after sitting a long time. This active seat option slowly and slightly (but you do notice it) moves each half of the seat up and down.

The comfort seat option is the multi-adjustable seat shape and control option that is wonderful.

Ventilated perferated leather seats is yet a third option that speaks for itself. I don't know the mix and match of packages, particularly the executive which was not available.
