Going from 20s to 19s (with spacers) for the winter.. need opinion..

Got the stock 20s with flared arches.. no spacers as I like the current look.

need opinions on spacer sizes I should use if I go down to 19s (style 211). i am thinking 30mm back and 25mm front... bro is telling me to go with 15mm front... i dunno :dunno: ..

opinions?

I sent you a PM... I have flared wheel arches on 19" Style 213 and no spacers with fronts of 255/50 (only 30mm at rear) ... they look fine IMHO and I'm not a fan of spacers on the front btw !!!

just curious -- why?

Question - why would you use spacers? Is it just for looks? I have the same 20" wheels as you and will be installing 18's for the winter, will I need spacers? Thanks

I dont see the need for spacers. I have an Msport with flared arches and 20s and I have just purchased a set of 19" oem wheels that would have come with the car had I not specced the 20s (Not sure what they are called) but the offset is such that no spacers are needed.

yes, for looks only.. especially because of the flared arches.

That's a sweet winter wheel/tire package! I went with the Style 210 18" wheels and all season tires, although I would have preferred the stock 19" M Sport wheels.

I installed the flared arches on my 35d, and i have 19s...
been contemplating if i need the spacers at the rear...

20s is on my list, but probably have to wait until next spring, together
with the aero kit sitting in my garage...
