ipod video

so i found out that my cd system can play dvd video while stationary... and I was just thinking... consider we have this nice hook up with ipod already... why hasn't someone at bmw put 2 and 2 together and say hey... lets play the video files on the screen as well... just my .02USD

I dont think the technology is out there yet.... even the aftermarket stuff. Besides, sounds like the lawyers will never allow it.

Mercedes offers this on most of their cars. It is a slight premium, but it certainly would seem worthwhile to get.

Dension has something to make this possible : GW500 + AVR module.
I am planning to installing this early january.

Guys see my posts on this very topic. I have an IPOD integration as well as dvd, usb, standard three prong s video feeds and can also play XBOX and playstation.

Technology has been out for many years, BMW wont due as you state because of legalities.
