18 inch Bridgestone Duelers good in snow?

Has anyone had any experience with 18 inch Bridgestone Duelers in the snow? Will I have to get better tires for winter snow??

I have driven my stock Bridgestone duelers RFT in snow and they work. Being all season, you cannot really expect the snow tire performance, but still they can easily be used in snow.

Hi, I live in the Great White North (Calgary, Alberta), and I found them horrible in the snow. I have ordered snow tires for the season as I did on the A4 and the A6 with Quattro - it makes a massive difference!

It works for the 1st year when the tire is still new and soft, the second year I agree with Kirkinner. They are horrible.

Stopping was none existent and had to get pushed out of a snow bank once, I never used the X again until the snow was all gone. Glad I have proper snow tires now!

They worked fine for me in Minnesota for the first year. On par with decent all season tires. They were terrible my the spring of the first year (15K), howling like crazy. I switched to some General non-runflat all seasons and they have been excellent.

I just tested the Generals on fresh snow today, very good at stopping.
