Black hood (bonnet)
 

I saw a white X6 with Hamann carbon fiber hood ! so I thought of a black hood will look almost the same. What do u thing guys ?

I like it..may want to do the roof as well...follow the theme up and over the truck.

If one were to do it, I would agree that blacking the roof out as well would be an idea worthy of consideration. Where the rails attach is a natural break point for the black to white.

But frankly, it doesn't do much for me. Kinda makes me think of a photo negative of a skunk. But that's just me, and no one has ever accused me of having great artistic judgment.

I think it looks bad a$$!! Hot lookin ride! The only thing is it completely blends in with the kidney grills. I agree, you might want to complete the look and do the roof and trunk in black as well. I remember seeing a carbon fiber hood for the E70 on ebay. Might still be there ifyou do a search...

Looks like a new hood that is waiting to be painted. Need to continue it up the roof, but probably not a good idea in your part of the world to paint the horizontal areas of a car black.

:rofl: Look at all those white cars. Guess everybody is trying to keep their cars as cool as possible!

Anyway, I think it looks great. If you followed up with a black roof, it would flow better. Then again, like Thunder22 said, you might not want to do that because of heat.

May I suggest:
1. Clear coat the hood, or better, paint glossy black and then clear coat.
2. Paint the roof glossy black with clear coat.
