Radio Volume
 

I have an 08 3.0 X5 with two CD drives.

When using my Ipod or external Sirius receiver I find the following annoying.

If I have set the AUX volume control to a comfortable level, that upon turning off the vehicle for a stop at a store or overnight, upon returning and starting the vehicle, the AUX volume is so low, I have to rotate the VOL knob about 3/4 of a turn to regain desired VOL.

I have set the speed dependant VOL slider in Idrive Min/Max/Middle. Not much changes.

What is turning down the AUX VOL during vehicle off periods?

I have a similar issue, but with CD and not with AUX. I have an aftermarket audio system, so I thought it was probably because of that. :dunno:
