Car seems to wander....Active Steering/Sport Package 4.8

My vehicle was pulling to the left constantly, brought it in had it re-aligned.

Now when I drive it I feel like there is too much effort in keeping the car straight. I do have the factory 20's and understand the tires are wide, but it is plain annoying.

I feel like I am constantly correcting to keep the steering wheel straight so the car goes straight.

Is it possible something is wrong with the active steering?

Any thoughts....

tramlining would be my guess. particularly as the tires wear.

Thats what I am figuring. I had the truck down south until recently and the roads are way different/smoother. Can possibly explain the change I am experiencing...

I feel the same way with my car but it is pulling right. I have about 10k miles on it and the dealer is saying it is my tires. I am going to have them replaced soon, but I think 10k is too soon for the tires and the car is never going straight but always pulling.

I had it re-aligned as well and had the entire suspension checked, but the active steering never came to mind.

Same deal here. After re-alignment it goes to the right. I think I have about 10k on the tires ( Dunlop SP Sport Maxx). Too much good tread on them to be bad...

I have the same tires. And exactly!! The tires seem to be fine yet the dealer is saying that is the problem and that they need to be replaced. I drive on very very bad roads an a daily basis and also on the highway, but i notice the problem everywhere.
It also makes noises over speed bumps or the slightest road changes.

I say BS on the dealer. I have the extended tire coverage on my tires, so basically thats about the only way I am going to have these replaced... I guess I can live with it.

I was just thinking maybe this Active Steering was playing some type of role...

I will def. not opt for Active Steering again..not really a fan and see no huge benefit..

Let us know the outcome. I am going to drop mine off tonight as well and have them take a look at the Active steering and see if that has anything at all to do with this...

Post up the final specs after alignment... the front caster and tow specs are suspect as they directly affect steering stabilization in a straight line. Tow is the only one adjustable without parts replacement though. If the tow is set too straight (near 0 degrees) the front will be prone to wandering. With the tow set slightly more positive (about 8 or 9 minutes in) it is more stable.
