Does the tailgate button on your key fob double as a 'panic' button? IOW if you depress it for more than 2 seconds (presumably with the tailgate closed), will the alarm sound?

This means that the feature is programmable somehow. Just need to find someone that has the right software to do the programming like they did to my cars allowing me to close the windows and moonroof with the remote.
