Google Maps

Used to be able to send address of locations to my 2009 navi from Google Maps, but not now. Anybody else see this issue?

There is a lengthy discussion about this in this forum. The bottom line is "Google is having problems with "send" option". Someone talked to Google and was told it would be fixed in a couple of days.

Thanks. I'll just keep checking.

Try reloading your browser. It worked for me. I actually reset my browser settings. I'm using Safari and Firefox (apple computer).

I don't know if it was coincidence or a google error, but I can get it to work every 4th or 5th try.

Got an advisory from SA that "Send" is back on the google maps as of yesterday... Verified it is there.

Your Right

I was able to send, now have to see if the vehicle received. Does not always happen like it should.

Going to Vegas for the weekend - daughter's volleyball tournament. See what kind of mpg I get.

Do some 65mph (or whatever the speed limit is?) stints to see what kind of mpg you get at normal speeds. I know that could be tough (I'm from California and have done that drive a few times before), but try for like 20 miles or so. It will be a neat experiment.

Looks like Google Maps' "Send" function is down again

dmfelger 03-04-2010 01:11 AM

Up now

The "Send" function is now under the "More" pull down menu on the pushpin of the site you selected.
