Bye X5 E70
1 Attachment(s)
Hello all,
Couple of days ago, I let my beloved X5 go. I sold her to a good friend who will take good care of the car. I loved every minute of driving this magnificent piece of automobile and will certainly miss her. Beginning of april, I will receive my new BMW, this time a F01 740d with M sports package. I will certainly keep on following this fantastic forum, and maybe one day, I'll own an X5 again :) One last pic : |
Good luck with the 7. You have to stay here, don't bother going to that stuffy 7 board. It's dead....

What exhaust tips are those? They look great..3.5" tips?
|
exhaust does looks great... same question as above.
|
Congrats...I just did the same. I'll miss the X5, but my new car will more than make up for it.
|
Yeah the pipes looks like - No nonsense!
|
nicely done E70... exhaust??
|
You learn to move on... I did the same... but went to an american car - lol! CTS-V totally different animals.

Man, your X5 is one of the ones I like on this forum, sorry to see it go, good luck!!
|
Very clean looking, beautiful X5. Same question as above on those tips.

Thanks for the kind words guys! The exhaust tips are the ones from Hartge. 2 pipes at each side. They measure about 8.5cm in diameter. I had to cut off the oem ones right down at the muffler and leave about 12cm of pipe. There, the hartges had to be bolted on. The fit is perfect. Even after 2 years, they can be cleaned so they look brand new :)

thanks for the exhaust info

Yea... great looking tips...I have a set of those sitting in my garage and I am thinking of selling them but I cant really advertise them here since I am not a premium member.... ( Forum rules :police: ). Well maybe I have to reconsider becoming a premium member.....
