That's three of us (although my M3 is Silverstone). It's an expensive way to go but gives you the best of all worlds.

Cool, I agree! Only problem is that both are clean and shiny so they aren't getting driven in the rain- seems kind of silly with X5, but while we still have other wheels, we might as well keep the new X5 looking new as long as we can!

Nice garage!! What kind of trim did you order? I'm thinking of going with the bamboo on Cinnamon.

Our trim is bamboo with Saddle Brown Nevada Leather. The pictures don't do it justice, it is a stunning color combo.

Love all the IB M3's, its a beautiful color, although now if it's the slightest bit dirty or dusty it looks bad next to the Vermillion!

Would you say the bamboo has some brown or gray in it?
So it does match well with the Saddle?

Boys and their toys right. An M alternative is a beautiful thing.

Question about the trailer hitch

OK- just kidding on the legal stuff. It does say in small print not to modify, drill or weld your tow hitch and that trailer brakes are not connected (which makes me wonder if there is a BMW trailer brake kit?).

I had been wondering if the trailer hitch is a dealer-installed item? I never did see the option when building my 2010 x5 on the website.... we don't need it now but might in the future, so was wondering. We just took possession of our x5 xDrive30i and love it too. Also contemplating the aero kit for looks (any real aerodynamic performance to speak of?) but believe it is incompatible with a trailer hitch (at least for rear pieces).

Thanks!

It is dark brown with light brown streaks- I am not home at the moment so I can't say if there is any gray, but I don't think so. It matches perfectly with the saddle interior!

Would appreciate any more pics of the trim!
