Side View
 

Anyone been able to order side view on their 2011 order? It shows up in the Order Guide as an option, which requires ZTP, but isn't orderable. Anyone else ran into this?

The Side View must be ordered in conjunction with all the other technology options.

Sorry, I misunderstood and thought you wanted to order it a la carte.

If the system allows model year 2011 orders, it should automatically be included when you select ZTP. (Kind of like how leather is selected when you order ZPP) If not, it's probably a glitch in the system, ask your Client Advisor to be sure.

They have quad checked. If it was there, they would have seen it.

That's why I was asking about anyone else's 2011 order.

from a german forum, the side view will eb awailable only in july 2010!

who ordered it already must wait for car delivery until july or will take it out from the order list and the car will arive at time but without

also rumors say, because of almost no interest back-up camera retrofit kit will not be awailable.....when i think of the prices and quality ...understandable

Yeah, these cameras are not available for vehicles produced before July 2010. I ordered my 2011 and didn't think it was worth waiting for.

Yeah, some tint and maybe an Aero-kit and it should be livable. :bling:

I just got my MY 2010 3.5d yesterday (woohoo!). It's got some sort of sideview on it w/ cameras on the bottom of the side mirrors. The rearview camera shows everything on both sides and the back. F'ing cool.

That is top-down view. There is a new option for 2011 called sideview. It adds two cameras pointing right and left on the front bumper. It basically allows you to see traffic around corners (buildings, trucks, etc.)
