ordering a 2011 - questions
 

Hi,

Im being told that the side view camera option cant be ordered till october - Has anyone else come across this?

Im also being offered a reduced money factor for multiple securities. Can someone explain the cons of doing that? the way I see it, if I give BMWFS an interest free $5k or so loan, it will save me about 45/month or $1650 over the life of the lease. Seems almost too good to be true...

Do 7 Multiple Security Deposits (MSDs). Best deal around...lower the money factor by .00049...that's a great deduction and equivilant of about making 15%+ on your money.

You are correct with side view cameras...not available until October builds. Probably not worth the wait...

another question: whats the correct way to calc tax IN the payment?

If the base payment is 707 pre tax then tax upfront is:
( 707 * 36 payments ) + 1.1k inceptions * 8.875 (nyc)= $2355

Dealer is telling me tax in payment is 783... which seems to be too high:
707+tax= $770 + mf on this amount $5 = $775 not $783 - small but curious why the diff

And on MSD, do you give 707*7 or 783*7?

Another one - is the base xdrive50i going to come with the 210 style wheel i have now in my 2007 x5 3.0??

Wheels are different, check the 2011 pictures and stuff in this forum.

For MSDs they round up to the nearest $50..always round up. So like $705 gets rounded up to $750 I believe.

Not sure about the tax calculation to be honest...I always pay taxes up front because why pay interest on taxes?

the only base v8 I saw a picture of was on the canadian order sheet and it had the 210 style wheels that I have now. That would be a bad move for bmw to put those wheels on the new v8...


Also, does a 50i come with a panoramic roof or is it a feature of the premium package like it was in the pre 2011's?
