E70 Centre Dash Speaker Access
 

Hi all,

It seems that my dash centre speaker is not working:dunno:. Can someone guide me as how I can gain access to it? Do I just pop the grille off?

I would go to the dealer as it will be under warranty.

Think its only a grill/place-for-speaker w/o Premium sound. If you have Premium Sound, take it to dealer. If no Prem sound, some speaker locations are empty (like the tweeter grills in front doors just forward of window/inside of side-view mirrors).

If you take the grill off, you'll gain access to the speaker and tweeter.

I have the Professional system, so it could be that have never worked. The car is still under warranty so I will check with BMW.

You will know that you have the professional system for sure if you check the i-drive. In the sound settings you will have a setting for Surround and also an equalizer.
