paint chipped off from edges of steering wheel
 

Is there any solution from the paint peeling on the x5's steering wheel. the previous owner was a woman and I suspect it was the rings on her fingers that cause the paint to wear on the x5.

I have attached pics below.

It seems they tend to peel but yours is worse by far than mine. I can only think of repaint or replace the plastic pieces.

First, you are posting in the wrong forum. Second, topic has been covered extensively...do a search. Third, yes the replacements are better manufactured. Go to your dealer and buy the replacement parts.

Mine was pretty bad a year into ownership and was replaced under warranty - mine's an e70
