Things you didn't know about your X5!

Similar to Tips and Tricks but concentrating on E70 X5 both 3.0 and 4.8 models

one thing i found, (for non comfort access cars)
not really useful but cool is that if you turn the car off and within 30 seconds hold the brake and press Engine Start button it will turn ON and stay ON while you drive

What do you know that will help your fellow X5 owner?

Thanks

I don't understand your point here. Why wouldn't the car start if the key is in the slot, your foot on the brake and you hit the start button? That's the normal start procedure....

^ he means without the key in the slot any longer. Don't know why they allowed that...

I'll try that later today, I'm a bit skeptical though

Works but I don't see any value in it.

If you give the car to someone to move it or park it. You can keep the key.

They can lock it using the central lock button.

as i said there's much value just a cool thing to know

my point to this thread is that there is something that someone finds by accident, as the example mentioned above and this is where you would share it

You would be surprised how many subjects have been
covered over the years......;) Not that you need to
but when you think of something, run a search. It's
pretty entertaining what will come up.......
