4. I am guessing Kuwaiti dealers will do a lot of things that BMW might not recommend and will basically then say "Hey, you wanted us to do it- it's your problem" Goodluck |

I had my headlights on my GMC painted, and they turned out very nice. I have not seen it done on a BMW, but I would guess that it could be done the same way I did it.
It is a very hard and complicated process in opening the housing. The GMC dealer here in Dubai attempted to open one light, but they messed up and ended up breaking the front. I also tried to do it myself and was able to get it open fine, but ended up messing it up when closing the housing. Some other GMC owners have done it without problems. I ended up buying a new pair of headlights, and had it done by a company in the US and shipped to Dubai. If I remember correctly, it cost me about $1,000 plus about $300 for shipping. And while that Denali came out nice, #1 it was a GMC product which might have less integrity to begin with as for the housing & the components and #2, $1,300 is an awful lot of hard earned cash to spend on a housing paint job. But alas, to each their own. |

I know $1300 is a lot. I was expecting to pay around $400 but it ended up being quite a bit more. |
