Can't tell from the pics, but is your passenger front grill mesh closed and the driver front grill mesh open like on mine? Why?

Yes, the passenger side lower grill is covered in the 35d. Both are open on the 50i because the airflow is required in that configuration.

Thanks for confirming that. I initially thought it was a manufacturing defect since only one mesh is open and all the other ones are closed. Seems to me more airflow would be better.
