Tracking your mileage with Fuely.com
 

I can honestly say that I've never tracked my fuel mileage before but with a new 2011 X5 35d coming in a couple of weeks, I'm going to start. It would be good for comparison sake if others would also tracked their mileage through that site or any other common web site.

I'm curious about mileage and will do it for myself and so others who visit the site can see what our X5s get. It would be interesting if a few X5 35i and X5 50i owners also tracked their mileage too. I notice a few people do it already. A summary is visible at Browse All BMW X5s | Fuelly

I think it would help dispel the stereotype that SUVs suck down fuel when the X5 has made great advancements in fuel economy.

Anyone else game?

I've added my 35d to fuelly - 22 mpg on first tank (mixed driving - compare to 15mpg on 4.4i).

I've been using Fuelly since we got Trucky.
