Heated Seats Retrofit
 

Hello Everyone,

I hope all is well today. I am an E53 owner from this board and will likely be joining the E70 family in the next week or so. I have a quick question. Has anyone ever performed a heated front seats retrofit? Is it possible to do, either with factory elements or aftermarket using factory buttons? Would this an expensive undertaking?

Just looking around at available options and am wondering what I may be able to address later if the car has everything else on my list.

Done it on an E53 - need seats with elements built in and th switch module with the heated seat buttons - that's all. Can't help on the E70. Suspect the car will need new switch module and re-coding to accept it.
