Squeeky driver's seat

2009 35d -- 9000 miles and already a squeeky driver's seat. Sounds like an old mattress. Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?

I have the same issue with my 2010 but havent looked into whether or not it can be fixed.

I believe there is a service bulletin on this... Bring it in, will be covered under warranty.

my squeak when I shifted in the driver's seat was caused by a plastic piece on the left side bottom... once I shifted that around (and it was a little moveable) it was "fixed" and has been for a couple years now.

Had the same problem with my MY2008. Fixed under warranty over a year ago with no further problem.

Have the same problem (May build 2007.) Never was resolved. Still squeaky plastic.

Mine did that within a month or two of delivery (09 X5d). Drove me nuts. Squeaked whenever any weight shift on the seat. Dealer not able to fix after 3 attempts. Came from lower outside front of trim plastic at bottom of seat. I was able to place a small piece of felt between the 2 pieces of plastic trim and problem solved.

I've had this too. When they fixed it, they did a leather treatment of some sort, as the squeak was coming from where the seat belt assembly rubbed up against the leather. That fixed it.

Does this happen on the bottom (cushion) part or upper (back support) part?

Mine is 2007 built and have squeek from upper part since then. I took her in for
this issue, the machanic took out the back cover and applied some greese on
some parts then the problem solved temporarily. I need to apply the greese
periodically until I feel sick of going in every a few months just for the stupid
reason.

Finally, I found if I chang the tilt a little bit upward then the noise dropps or
even disappear.

Hope this information can help you solve the issue.
