Where can I find the built date?

I just picked up my new 2011 X5 35i on Saturday and the Navigation system was not set up and they couldn't get it for me due to holiday weekend. Today we got the activation code from the dealership and I put in with no issues. However the neighborhood beside where I live does not appear in the maps. This area has been ther for four years. This area shows up in all on line map software i have used. I assume the BMW system has an ancient map loaded. The build date for my X5 is 09 10 which I assume is September 2010. I believe BMW should have provided me 2011 software / mapping data since I purchased in Q2 2011. Is there any way of determining whether or not that is the case? Hard to believe that BMW would have such old data. This is for Calgary, AB Canada. Thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
