Mysterious piece of trim
Do you guys know if this piece of trim belongs to an E70 X5? I found it on my garage floor and I'm having hard times understanding if it belongs to our X5 or if it fell of one of the Infinities parked in the next spot. Thank you!
Here is a link to the shots of this piece of plastic: Picasa Web Albums - evolvah - 20100710 - Pi... |
I've never seen it before, and there's no BMW part# stamped on it either. Safe to say probably off something else.
|
Infiniti folks don't remember seeing a cover like that on their vehicles. I'm confused now...
Did you notice the letters on the back? Here is what is says: 031D0423 > ABS+PC < ITI#4 Could this be related to BMW? |
And by the way, the color of this cover does not match the color of trim in either of the cars...
|
What kind of size is it? if it's pretty small I'd say it was the battery cover off of a TV remote control or the likes.

I got a mysterious piece of trim back in '91, she was hot.... oh wait... never mind. ....
|
Fastbuck,
It is pretty big. About 10 by 8 cm. |
Looks like the defabulation coagulator cover from the nimbus 9000.
|
It isn't from any car's exterior. The finish on the fitment and the lettering quality says "interior/high visual part"
Any chance it is SIMPLY A PIECE OF GARBAGE YOU FOUND UNDER YOUR CAR?!?!?! Really... A PS Thunder. ROTFL... Oh the memories, eh?..... |
Thunder, I was going to say that if no one took the thread of this title and ran with it, this forum is waayyyy too serious...
my caption was likely going to be "kind of reminds me of college life" |
