yeah I try them next. The SM at East Bay just called me with an offer to replace the pieces at cost, so $38 for the inside door handle and $58 for the steering wheel trim, wow what a joke how cheap they are to think they will now lose a customer for life over $96.00. |
And the saga continues, now Fremont BMW won't replace the parts under warranty and that is without taking the car in for an inspection. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

That totally sucks, I guess they play nice only when you buy the car from them.

Anyone had success in the Philadelphia or delware county area with getting trim replaced? A recomended dealer would be nice to know.
|
Anyone familiar with the Knoxville area. I have a few things I'd like looked into, but I didn't buy from Grayson BMW. The bad thing for me is that because Knoxville's such a small city, there are no other BMW dealers other than Grayson.

I had the cover of the upper glove box come off in the heat and they replaced it for me no questions asked.

Went and the service manager said "no problem!" I have an appointment Monday morning to get the trim and the running boards replaced. |
Anybody know the cost of the inside door handles and if they can be bought online? I dont care to do the work and surely they cant be too expensive.

I recently purchased a 2008 X5 and have 2 places where the trim is peeling - I didn't even notice when buying the car. The SA told me they would take care of it.
