I can't believe it's here already! I had my fingers crossed for the end of August. The order was placed on July 26th. It left Carolina yesterday morning and was at my dealership here in NJ today, I can't believe it!

I drove down to the dealer with my son to go check it out.. I'll be taking delivery this Friday/Saturday.. As you can see he's also excited about our new toy!

Do you work out the price deal before order, or after order?

Congrats, we need a lot of pictures with the son in the car showcasing the features and options.

Awesome, First Mod, remove the front plate! I can't believe they had the oddity to put it there without your permission.

That has a story behind it. I specifically DEMANDED no front plate. My salesman was well aware of my insanity regarding front plates. Unfortunately the car came in so quickly and without him being there to tell the shop not to put the plate on the front! He actually called me to inform me of the bad news. I threatened not to take the car I was so livid.. After a few deep breaths I thought about it..

My wife will be driving it from time to time with the kids. Here in NJ it's the law to have a front plate. I never bothered putting one on any of my cars because I liked the way it looked. I would get pulled over from time to time and I would talk my way out of it easily.

The last thing I need is my wife getting pulled over for something like this, with my kids in the car no less.. Soooo, I think I'm going to keep the plate on for now. If it really makes me insane I'll do something about it but I'm almost 40, I guess it's time for a front plate! LOL

List of mods to be done soon...
1. Tint the windows
2. Clear bra
3. Replace fog bulbs
4. Replace Halo bulbs
5. Replace front reflector to clear
6. Dustless brake pads
7. Invision DVD players

For your situation, I think we can let this one have plates. Cool mods, will be checking this thread for lots of pictures.

I'm a nut too. You're rationalizing, which is your right.

I now have 3 cars without front plates. I leave the temp registration on the windshield. No tickets in years and years. Wife drives the X. She can handle a traffic stop.

CAs are such Fing morons when it comes to stuff like "do not plate" 'do not wash or wax" and "do not detail". You are spending $60k, you think they could get those simple things right. Yes it came fast, but he was busy chatting up the receptionist and not checking his orders every day.

Congrats, Enjoy

Nice color combo..ready for suburban assault duty. I had dustless pads on my '01 and they worked out pretty well. The gray detail on the 336 wheels do help hide the dust, but may also go that route. Congrats.
