Bluetooth/blackberry issues
 
After enjoying the hands free function for a few weeks now, it is giving me issues now.

I m not able to pickup an incoming phone call or make an outgoing call from the car anymore. It works fine if making a call from the blackberry itself. The car will pick up the call with bluetooth, but I can not terminate the call with the e-drive.

Any ideas?

Have you tried deleting both the phone from the paired devices in your I-drive and the I-drive from your BB? Restore bluetooth pairing after that.
Had to do that sometimes in my old 5-er.

i actually went to my dealership cause i was having problems with my bb and bluetooth and the guy working there told me bb's dont work very well with bluetooth and there really isnt a way to fix it

Sorry, you just experienced being blown off. Search this forum, and you will see lots of us enjoying our BB via BT on our BMW's (don't you love all the B abbreviations?).

I am on my third BB, same BMW. All worked just fine via BT.

Well, that's just not true. Bberry's work fine with bluetooth. You should go back to that dealer and ask to speak with the service manager because clearly he hired an idiot.

Got it figured out. Deleted at first and did pair it again, no success. Took the battery out of the berry and rebooted it that way, and works perfect again.

Clearly a Blackberry problem, and nothing to do with the BMW.

Besides this nothing but good things. Sounds really clear and connects fast and smooth. (its a BBerry storm).

Agree with the others, the BMW dealer is out to lunch on this one.
