SO, is this available for the V8 - 4.4 Turbo motor in the X5?

BMS has or is developing Piggy back chips for most/all Turbo BMW engines. You can contact Terry Burger the Owner of BMW (Burger Motor Sports) I am sure he will be happy to talk to you about your engine...there are deff. other tunes already out for you engine producing at least 80-100hp and 80-100tq gains :)

I contacted him via email and he informed me that he has nothing in the works. What other tuners are currently offering 100hp upgrades for my X5? Thanks.. :thumbup:

Slightly OT but I hadn't seen this thread and actually contacted Terry Burger of BMS to ask him if anything was coming up for the E70 X5 4.8i. He said there's nothing in the works.

Can you please try Gintani for some reason these guys come to mind as well...

Any feed back? does it improve 0-60? Any improved in MPG.
and if you are running chip at 50-60% Default or full 100%?

According to his video he had it set at 100%... according to testers and owners it will show higher MPG in the display because a higher fuel pressure is used that throws off the MPG calculations. Overall though, i have heard, that there is no MPG change. However, if you constantly running WOT or heavy footed, obviously you will eat up the diesel.

I think this is a reasonable option for those wanting a little more torque for towing, etc. Run at 75% and u should be safe as there are tons of people running without problems at 100%...
