2008 4.8, runflats, 3rd row & spare tires...
 

okay, so i get it that if the car has the third row, there is no spare and it comes with run flats,
BUT was the 2008 4.8 available without the 3rd row?,

and, if no third row, does it come with a spare? and normal tires?

All US 2008 X5's came with runflats.

The spare tire was/is an individual option -- you only got it if you ordered it.

You can get no third row. You can get space saver spare as an option. You cannot get a the car as a CPO or new without runflats You can put non runflats on the car if you want with no mods

I am trying to imagine an E70 with a wig, since apparently they are mandatory now

I have a 2008 sport with a spare and runflats, but the spare might come in handy when I replace them with regular tires.

The X5 I bought didn't come with a spare, only the lower storage area. Can it be retrofit with the mounting for a spare? I want to switch to 20s and don't want to be limited to RFT's.
