I haven't seen any pics with the above combination (would've helped me a lot during my shopping). So here are pics of mine that I picked up a couple of days ago. Black Sapphire, Oyster Nevada, Bamboo, Premium, Sport, Cold Weather, Tech, Multicontour Seats, 3rd Row Seats, Running Boards.

Hopefully this is not too many pics :)

Any interest in swapping out your wheels for 336's off of a 50i?

rh71 08-30-2010 07:21 PM

love the photography... is that all on the lens or did it require some photoshop/filters?

also never thought to stand through the pano roof like that for a dash shot. ;)

and lastly... so jealous of all the 35i ppl.

TRAINER 08-30-2010 08:05 PM

Looks like a 10mm lens on the camera to me..

Menace2sgv 08-30-2010 08:12 PM

Swapping 336 for 214s? If I had 214s I would do in a heartbeat.;)

BEAUTIFUL pictures - you are an artist!

Thanks all!!! This was actually a very hurried photo taking, nothing serious. My neighbors were all outside and I'm not comfortable taking pics of my new car in front of them  My wife was out of town when I took delivery, and she wanted to see the new car, so had to take some photos.

I used a 50mm/1.4, 17-40mm/4, and 15mm/2.8 fisheye, on Canon 5D Mark II (full frame). Just an increase of clarity and some vibrance in Adobe Lightroom. I added very little vignetting on some (like the first pic), to reduce distraction from surrounding objects.

Trainer, thanks for the offer, but I'm still liking the 214 so much on the X5. Very curious why you want to change. And I'm sure people would get inline if you post a request.

TRAINER 08-31-2010 09:01 AM

Someone else has wheels that I like however he will only swap them for 214's... So, for me to get his I need new 214's.. I posted this and nothing serious yet..

You can tell a serious photographer when all of that is "nothing serious".
Great pics none the less.
