My E70 photos

The modification process has been slow, but it is finally almost done.
I'm going to pick up the painted extended wheel arches from the body shop today. (the photo sucks because it was taken on my iphone). New photos to come |
how many people do you plan on impaling with those horns? how much did it cost to paint all the textured black plastic parts? looks great. like the x5 m.
|
Thanks. Well, i did them all at different times because I'm poor as I am living off of student loans. I did the rear bumper and the wheel arches first for about $1,400. The front bumper was done for free since I got into a fender bender and needed a new one (my best friend owns a body shop). Lastly. I had the running boards and door bumper things painted for $700.
Since I got new wheels, I had to get the extended wheel arches painted for another $350. The horns are just a joke. |
i wanna see a pic of you dressed as a bull fighter in front of your car :D
|
very nice touch on the painted door guards. Looking forward to new pics with the wheels

Very nice wheels and paint, imo...
I had to look at your "home place"; I was expecting Dallas or Ft Worth, ;>) GL, mD |
I have clear reflectors for your car if you're looking for them. I ordered them by mistake thinking they would fit my 2011..
|
Good Job on the mods!!!
Love the rims... I am getting the same ones... |

Very nice ride. It's amazing how much better the painted door trim looks vs. the original black. |

Nonetheless, that is a nice X5 you have there and it looks great with the mods that you did. Well done |

Looks real, real good. The only thing that keeps popping into my mind is how those painted bumpers are going to look when some female with heels steps in or out of the car more than two or three times.

True, but depending on his interest rate (Mine is 2.35%) he may want to take to entire 30 years to pay it off. One never knows... |

Well, here is my story about being a "poor college student"...I worked as a nurse and lived at my parents house (rent free) for two years. I saved up a lot of money and decided to blow it all on a down payment for my X5. Now I'm "poor" because I went back to school and now have to live on student loans since it is impossible to simultaneously work and go to school in the program I'm in.
As far as the horns, I said they are just a joke and I've had them on all my previous cars. I know they look out of place, but that is what I like about them. I've actually got a few of my friends to do the same thing to their cars.
