Has anyone tried replacing the D1S headlight bulb to 6000k?
 

I recently installed 6000k HID fogs and now it really doesn't match the headlights at all. I'm considering changing out the headlights to 6000k bulbs. Has anyone done/tried this? If so, anything to look out for? Thanks

I've done this. Not much to watch out for from what I remember other than the tight squeeze to get them in and out.

Although less functional in terms of lumens I like the output of 6000k better. Just looks nice and now matches my M :D

Can you tell me how you removed the headlight bulb? I popped the back cover off and released the little spring clip. Do I just yank the bulb out? twist? Thanks!

I can't remember exactly how I removed the bulbs but I think there was just a spring loaded retaining wire thingy. That just needed to be removed and folded back to allow the capsule to slide out. Opposite for install.
