Removing rear emblem rondell

Does anyone know how to remove the rear emblem?

I believe there are clips at the back behind the trim panel and also double sided tape onto the paint. Remove the clips then pull if off.

just did this. I used hair dryer, plastic interior panel removal tools and soft cloth. Heat the entire emblem for few minutes till hot. Then using a plastic, non marring interior plastic panel removal tool start prying it off at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. takes no time at all.

Do you remove only the roundel or did you remove the chrome trim too? Gotta paint the chrome piece (mine is flaking badly) and wasn't sure if the entire assembly is removed this way.
