Problems connecting to new bluetooth audio
 

Hi all. I recently picked up a new 2011 35d and I am having some problems with the bluetooth audio. I have a droid and I am able to connect and stream music through the bluetooth but when I get back in the SAV the bluetooth audio won't reconnect and I have to unpair the phone, restart the phone, and then repair in order to get the bluetooth audio to reconnect (the phone will reconnect right away and I can make calls, I just can't listen to music).

I just wanted to see if anyone else is having any problems or if it's something on my end. I went into the dealership but they had never seen the new bluetooth system and they didn't really have anything constructive to say about it.

This is a common problem with the BMW's implementation of the BT stack. There is a published standard and it is up to the company to implement it. Nokia had a issue back in the day with BMW. I have read about the HTC/Droid having issued with BMW's. You will not get any help from BMW because it is not a "suppported" phone.
