Those tires are great. I've had them for about 5 months and love them. This winter will be the first test in the snow

Paspar, you have a 2011? Are you on lease and mothballing the OEM rubber until turn in?

check verdestein group buy thread, not as durable as conti but better on performance

MRV, its leased - yes. Not sure why I need to mothball them. BMW will accept a car back with 4 matching tires so I plan to give them back with the tires I buy... Am I missing something?

Thanks for the input! Unfortunately The Continental ExtremeContact DWS are on back order for a few months UGH. Tire rack has rated The Yokohama AVID ENVigor pretty well. Has anyone out there had and experience with these before i make the purchase???

I am planing to wait till mid decemeber and get the toyo st II if the DWS still have no ETA

I had the dealer do a pre-inspection on my 2007 before the turn-in and was told that my tires were 3/32 tread depth which meant I had to put new tires before lease turning the car in (4/32 were the min stated in lease agreement). You will need turn the car in with OEM approved tires and that means runflats because all x5 BMW's have runflats from the factory. I figured that you were going to store the OEM runflats and burn up a set conti's and then putting the OEM's back on for lease end so you don't have to buy a new pair of expensive tires when your getting rid of the car.

I'm planning on buying the Yokohama Avid's since the Contis are on back ordered. The Yoko's are also back ordered (205/55/18), but they have a ship date of the end of the month.
