wheel set up
 

Have eventually managed to buy an extra set of 19 inch wheels - staggered for E70. This is to eventually put winter tyres on. Couldnt get any 18 inch wheels for a decent price, whereas got the new 19 inch wheels (identical to those already on the car) with new summer tyres for less than the price of just new tyres.

Anyway, in the interim until I save up for winter tyres, can I put the 255/50 wheels on the back instead of the 285/45 wheels giving narrower tyres at the back which may be better for snow.

also if I put winter tyres on the four 19 inch X 9 inch wheels, could i then use the four 285/45 wheels and tyres front and back in the summer?
