3.0 d engine re map
 

Hello All,

I am considering remapping my 3.0 d m sport. The car was registered in Nov 2007.

I know there are increases of 35 bhp to be had, however it would seem that the increase in torque is the main benefit.

I live in the Highlands of Scotland, can anyone recommend a reliable agent to get this remap done.

Can anyone recommend where to get my e70 3.0 d chipped in scotland .
Also what is the general thought on going for the 35 bhp increase, has anyone got experience of this upgrade?

Don't know of any Scotish fitters, but on my last e53 single turbo X5 i had a Tunit Box (They are from Blackburn / Bolton area) that could be self fit. it took the standard 193bhp up to 230ish and made it livable. The sd that i have now with sin turbos and 286 is the one to have, have no real need (and i am a bit of a speed merchant) for any more power.
