Where's my Car Jack???
I have runflats and third row. No spare and therefore no car jack in the middle of the spare. Has to be a car jack in there some where???? My old montero had it under the second row seats.
Going to the dealership Monday to have them deal with the water in the back read lid lights. Do they replace or repair the lights???? Someone on the E60.net forum told me to look for the water and sure enough it was there. Also, my reflector triangle and first aid kit appear to be missing. |
There is no jack with the run flats. There is no reflector or first aid kit either.

No tire to change, no tirejack.

Serious?!?! That's not good IMO. What if I wanted to take the wheels off for a good brake dust cleaning. Or simply replace the wheels. Weird thing was my 550 had RF's but still had a spare and jack. And why not have the reflector triangle and first aid kit... You can pull over for more than a flat tire and use the first aid kit for multiple reason.

Then you buy a jack, preferably a floor jack if you have room to store it. Sears often has good deals. If you order the X5 with the spare tire option ($150 or thereabouts), you get a compact spare, a tire wrench, and a jack, otherwise, nada. |
A decent jack will run you $100, and be a lot easier to use than the compact ones if you want to switch wheels or give em a cleaning.
I don't think I have a first aid kit either, and I paid for the spare. |
[Sarcasm On]
Dude, BMW drivers DO NOT jack up cars or change their own tires...they press the SOS button and act like helpless pvssies. [Sarcasm Off] |
^ I thought you were a bmw driver?
