So I just found out that my car is finally in production and is scheduled to be completed by 12/8. :D

I'm in Southern California and am wondering how soon it will get to the dealer, assuming that the Christmas holiday could slow things down if it doesn't come before.

I've got the same completion date and my dealer said no problem before Xmas, but I'm in Houston. :)

Unfortunately, my understanding is that the Cali cars have to get prepped in Oxnard before dealer delivery, whereas your might take a more direct path.

before, my car came almost a month earlier than promised

11-14 days to get through oxnard VPC.

Actually got a call from the sales guy tonight. He said that it's about a week from when it's completed to Houston. It'll be a really nice anniversary and Christmas present to ourselves.

I assume you didn't get a diesel. I was really worried (still a little worried) about taking delivery before the end of the year to qualify for the Fed tax credit.

definitely under, unless the factory workers are off a lot this December. ;)
