Sport Activity Exterior differences

Folks -

Outside of the wheels - what are the differences between a truck w/ the Sports Activity Package & one without it???

thx in advance...

Exterior:

Wider fender flares (only if you opt for the 20" 214's)
Shadowline window trim (Glossy black instead of flat black, no big deal)

Interior:
Sports Steering Wheel (thicker rim, smaller diameter) and Sport Seats
Anthracite Headliner
Higher Top Speed Limiter (only w/20" wheels and sport tires)

Interesting....i appreciate the detailed response. The gloss black vs. flat back trim is of no consequence to me, my concern was the fender flares. If i was getting the 19" "Y" spoke (vs. the 20) then it sounds like its the same flare as the base car.

thx much for your help - if i don't find one w/ a sport act pkg, i can always add a set of rims w/o much loss visually...

No problem. Keep in mind that putting on wider rear wheels w/o the flared fenders might look a bit odd, but you can always change out the fender flares for the wider ones, I believe its about $200 or less.

Why not place an order for one exactly to your liking instead? It should take no more than 6-8 wks from order to delivery. Most dealers don't have much inventory on X5's, esp. w/Sport Activity since most soccer moms don't care for it.:p:

I hear you, i figure'd i'd try and score one before month/year end since the 1800 alt fuel tax credit goes away. Between the 2500 holiday cash, 3500 eco credit, 1800 fed tax credit, and dealer discount - i'm having a hard time staying off of the car dot com website :)
