Accident Pics

Uggghhh! Snowing a lot here in Denver and I'm making a right turn on a green light and some moron decides to pull an illegal U-turn. I unfortunately hit my brakes (rather than slam into the moron) out of pure reaction and slide right into a light pole! Busted up my driver's side mirror, door, chipped off part of the driver's front rim, scratched up the front bumper, and scratched up the passenger's door. That moron driver drove off pretty fast before I could get their license plate.

I have USAA insurance and my deductible is $500. Any reputable BMW collision shops here in Denver?

Sorry to hear about your accident. I nearly got rear ended this morning myself by someone in a honda driving too fast for conditions. Fortunately I was luckier than you and was able to avoid it.

Good thing you have USAA though. They've always treated me great.

I'm sorry about what happened. Look for a reputable shop to fix this and you'll be on the road again!

U didn't call the cops right? You don't want this on your carfax

Nah, I didn't call the cops. Was shocked enough that I didn't even notice the car nor the license plate number. Oh well. Anyone have any experience w/Murray BMW's collision center?

Sorry to hear about the damage. BTW--Carfax actually gets their information from the DMV. And insurance companies are "supposed" to report it to the DMV.

Ahh, the DMV gets their info from the police reports too though. Lots of times the insurance companies don't tell the DMV (as you alluded to). I'd try to stray away from letting the DMV get this info. Bc lots of people have been tricked into thinking that carfax is the end all be all, which will obviously hurt your resale.

I have used Centennial Collision in Littleton with flawless results. They were contracted by Schomp BMW when Schomp was in their old location.
